Bravery
Since its formation there have been countless acts of bravery shown by soldiers of the 3rd Royal Tank Regiment. I count myself amongst these for refusing 'Rocket' Ron Selwood a drink in A Sqn bar in 1984. In all soldiers from 3RTR were awarded the following awards for bravery:

Lt CH Sewell won the Regiments only Victoria Cross for action during WW 1 during action in Northern France. |
Sgt Fred 'Buck' Kite won the Military Medal and 2 Bars during WW 2, the only soldier to do so and therefore a remarkable feat. |
