Annual Dinner - 2011
On Sat 26th Nov the Plymouth Branch of the Royal Tank Regiment Association held its annual Canbrai dinner at the China fleet club in Saltash. 133 ex-members of the RTR and guests attended the 3 course meal with wine and port. A large amount of raffle prizes were donated as well as those bought by the branch. All those who had attended enjoyed a great evening amongst many old friends. Some even from Scotland and surrounding areas.
Many remarked that they will all be back next year as it is the 95th anniversary of the Battle of Cambrai and that the organisation that had been done by Terry Hughes the treasurer was second to none, and will take some beating. The date is comfirmed as Sat 24th November 2012.
